Govt approves regulation on support for SMEs, to start Nov 15
MOSCOW, Oct 29 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed an order on the rules for providing financial assistance to small and medium enterprises (SME) under coronavirus restrictions, the press service for the government said in a statement on Friday.
“Grants will be awarded on a declarative basis. Applications will be collected remotely by the Federal Tax Service,” the statement read.
SMEs will be able to file applications starting from November 1. Payments will begin on November 15 and continue until the end of 2021.
The payments will help support about 3 million workers. The total volume of funds allocated to financial aid will amount to 38.5 billion rubles.
